Congratulations on becoming a PowerConnect employer! You now have the opportunity to connect with all the schools in the Purple Briefcase platform and find the best candidates for your open positions.
You might already be connected to your free school, but now you can add more.
Start by clicking the link for “powerconnect” located in the left-hand side navigational menu. This will load the map. Clicking on the various states will load the schools that are participating in the Purple Briefcase Network. The list will appear below the map.
Review the schools and put a check the box by the names of the schools you want to connect to. Then, click the "Request Connections to Selected Schools" button. Purple Briefcase schools will receive your request and will then be able to review and approve you as one of their employer connections!
After requesting a connection, and while you are waiting for an approval, you do have the option to submit your job postings to these schools. Your job post submissions will appear in the "unconnected" column of My Jobs.
Once your connection with a school has been approved, that posting will move to “submitted.” The school will then review your job post and either approve or decline it. If it’s approved, your posting will move into the “published” column, which means it is now a live/active posting!
(Note: If you selected a state, but the search did not return any schools for you to review, there are no schools currently active in the Purple Briefcase network in that particular state. But remember to check back often – new schools join Purple Briefcase every month!)
