You might receive an email from a school announcing an event you would like to attend as a vendor (for example, a career fair). They might even provide a link that leads you to the Purple Briefcase log-in page.
If you already have a Purple Briefcase account, you will log-in. If you do not have a Purple Briefcase account, please read this article first: How Does Purple Briefcase Work? You must set-up an account and have an approved connection to see the school's events.
For those employers who already have a Purple Briefcase account, log-in. After logging in, if you look in the My Events section and do not see the event listed, there could be several reasons. We recommend that you take these steps.
Make sure you have an approved connection to the school. You can double-check by accessing the My Schools section of the platform.
If you are not connected, or if the school connection is pending, the school will need to approve you as a connection before you can see and register for their events.
If you are not connected, see I Am Connected To One School, How Do I Add Another? for instructions on how to add another school connection with their unique school code.
If you have already sent in a request to connect and you see that it is still pending (in your My Schools section), contact the school’s career services office directly and ask them to approve the pending request.
If you have an active connection to the school, but still do not see the event, we recommend that you contact the career services department to make sure that the event has been published so that vendors can register.
If you have an active connection to the school, and the school’s career services office has confirmed that the event is published for vendors to be able to register in the platform, please contact our support team for additional assistance.
You can contact support easily by clicking the button for Help when you are logged into the platform. This button is located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Please include your company name, the email address that you use to log into the Purple Briefcase platform, the name of the school hosting the event you would like to register for, and the name and date of the event.
