If you sent a Request Connection to your one free school, but never heard back from them, you have a couple of options.
If the school is an institution that you still would like to be connected to, we recommend that you reach out directly to their career services center. You will most likely find contact information for career services on the school’s website. (If contact information for career services is not listed on the website, call the main line for the school and ask to speak with career services. When you call, make sure you specify that you want career services and not the school's Human Resources.)
When you are connected to staff in career services, explain that you are an employer and that you would like to connect to them through Purple Briefcase. Ask for their school code – you will need to enter it into the platform.
Once you have the school code, you will enter it in the My Schools section. This will override your original pending request to the school.
The school will still need to approve you via the platform from their end, but with this pending request, you can begin to submit your job postings to them. (Postings will appear as “unconnected” in the platform, but once the school enables your connection, they can review and approve your job post submissions.)
Now, if for some reason the school does not provide you with the school code and / or denies your request to connect, please submit a help ticket to Purple Briefcase by clicking the Help button (located in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen) when logged into the platform. We will then delete your original “one free school” request from the platform so that you may submit a connection request to another school and begin to submit your job postings.
