Some schools using the Purple Briefcase platform have chosen to offer mentorship opportunities for students with approved employers. The Mentor Program allows students to connect with employers who can offer real world experience through mentorship.
To apply to a school to become a mentor (if the school is participating in the Mentor Program), you will see a “be a mentor” link in the left-hand navigational menu.
Clicking that link will open the Add a Mentorship section of the platform. Read the full intro provided on that page for a more detailed overview of the Mentor Program. Then, complete the form.
Fill out all required fields. Note that “Opportunity Type” allows you to choose from several options.
Once you have filled out all fields, remember to click the submit button.
You will receive a confirmation message stating that you will be notified when your request to become a mentor is approved or declined.
