This article will walk you through the process of submitting a new On Campus Interview Request to a school. Begin by choosing the tab for Request Management located in the On Campus Interview section of the platform. Then, click the link for “new on-campus interview request.” This will open a new drop-down window for you to fill out.
You will note that some of these fields will already be pre-populated with your information. Fields marked with asterisks are required.
The platform provides a variety of interview types for you to choose, such as: Open, Pre-Selected, Information Session, Virtual Interview, Resume Drop, and Room Reservation Only.
You can select a morning time slot, an afternoon time slot, or choose both if you want interviews scheduled throughout the day. You also have the option to submit Interview Date preferences, as well as the number of the rooms you will need and interview length.
Other choices include whether you prefer back to back interviews, if you require US work authorization for the student, and alumni status. The platform will send you student applications via email if you leave the box checked.
Once your interview preferences are set, you can move on to creating the job post.
As you reach the bottom of the window, you can add any pertinent job notes, then:
- Attach a file (e.g., a company application form required for all new hires)
- Link an existing applicable job posting to the OCI request
- If the Interview Type you chose earlier in the form was "Pre-Select," you must indicate the Application Criteria by checking the box and filing out the additional information
The Pre-Select Criteria option allows you to be more specific as to the applicants who can apply to you via the platform. For example, you can limit by graduation year(s); majors or interests; or minimum GPA.
For the grad year and majors/interests options, to select more than one choice, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard as you make your selections.
When you are finished making all of your choices, review your OCI request and then click the “send request” button at the bottom of the window.
If you do NOT want to require Application Criteria, choose an "Open" Interview Type instead of "Pre-Select."
